About Prospect Creek
Prospect Creek is a very small settlement approximately 180 miles (290 km) north of Fairbanks and 25 miles (40 km) southeast of Bettles, Alaska. Years ago it was home to numerous mining expeditions and the camp for the building of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS).
This is a site record: what public sources say about Prospect Creek, gathered in one place. We haven't written a full guide yet, so history, current access and photos are still to come. Treat the status as unknown until a guide confirms it.
