About Frankfort

Frankfort is a ghost town in Pacific County, Washington on the mouth of the Columbia River near Portuguese Point. First homesteaded in 1876, a planned community was platted by two promoters, Frank Bourne and Frank Scott (whence the name) in 1890.

This is a site record: what public sources say about Frankfort, gathered in one place. We haven't written a full guide yet, so history, current access and photos are still to come. Treat the status as unknown until a guide confirms it.
